Lumidial Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the mobile app Lumidial, formerly Clock Screensaver (Android, com.pesstudios.clockscreensaver) by PeS studios (“we”) handles user data. Contact: info@pesstudios.com.
Summary
The app requires no sign-up, contains no ads or analytics and does not collect, upload to any server, share or sell any personal data. It does not have internet access.
What the app stores on your device
- your settings (for example the selected clock face, color, brightness, night dimming, automatic start and the apps that open when you tap the clock or the date).
We do not send this data anywhere. If Android automatic backup is turned on, the system may back up the app’s data to your Google account. That backup is managed by Google according to your settings; we have no access to it. Uninstalling the app removes the data from the device.
Information the app only displays
The app reads the time of your next alarm from the system and the battery level so it can show them on the clock. This information is not stored or sent anywhere.
When you choose the app that opens when you tap the clock or the date, the settings show a list of the apps installed on your phone. The list stays on your device and is not sent anywhere; only your choice is saved.
Permissions
- Set alarms – to set an alarm in the system Clock app when you ask for it.
- Notifications – for the notification shown while automatic start is on, and for the notification that opens the clock.
- Foreground service and start at boot – only if you turn on automatic start: the app waits for the charger to be connected or the screen to turn off (while charging, or also on battery if you allow it), and starts again after a restart.
- Display over other apps – only if you allow it: Android needs it to show the clock automatically while you are using another app.
Ads, analytics and third parties
The app contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party libraries that communicate over the network.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
