How it works
VaultQuick is a fast companion for your Obsidian vault on your phone. Capture an idea, a task or a journal entry in seconds – without opening Obsidian, straight into plain Markdown files in your vault.
Open the capture window from the app icon, a quick settings tile or a home screen shortcut, type or dictate and save. The rest of your notes stay exactly where they are.
What you get
Quick capture
A task for the TaskNotes plugin, an entry in today’s daily note or a new note. Dates are recognised from the text – “tomorrow”, “on friday 14:00”, “7.10.” – and an exclamation mark means high priority.
Tasks
A full-screen task panel: overdue, today, week, month and tasks without a date. Filter by project, complete with one tap, recurring tasks.
Page shortcuts
An icon for any vault page on your home screen – your own icon, emoji or image. Tap to open the page in Obsidian or add a task, a note or a list item to it.
Widgets
The number of today’s and overdue tasks, and upcoming anniversaries from your vault, name days and birthdays from contacts.
Reminders
Notifications for tasks with a time, a morning summary, an evening review and a weekly overdue overview. Complete or postpone a task right from the notification.
Your data stays yours
No account, no cloud, no ads and no tracking. Everything is written only to files in your vault – sync it your way (Syncthing, Obsidian Sync…).
